Learn how to free yourself from anxieties with these easy steps

Anxiety often comes up because we worry something will go wrong in the future. Some of the NLP techniques are perfect for helping us be more present in the moment and not worry about what will come.

Here is a simple and playful way infused with NLP and visualization:

  1. Find a quiet place.

  2. Close your eyes.

  3. Scan your body on the inside from the top of your head down to your toes' tips. Notice all sensations inside your body.

  4. Imagine light with the size of a ping- pong that metaphorically represents calmness, and shift your awareness with the ball to your ankles.

  5. Then the belly button.

  6. Then solar plexus.

  7. Then the chest.

  8. Throat.

  9. Behind the eyebrows.

  10. Above the head.

  11. Make the ball slightly bigger, like a tennis ball. It is now even calmer.

  12. Hit the same points on the way down.

  13. Make the ball larger, and go up again.

  14. Now can you make it as big as basketball?

  15. Have fun!
